If you have never kayaked before or consider yourself a beginner, check with us in late April. Note that JOHNSONS BEACH DAM gets installed mid-June.
KAYAK & STAND UP PADDLE BOARD RENTALS & TRIPS

We can only shuttle groups of 5 people or less, or the drivers of large groups. Call for details 707-869-2156

REQUIREMENTS:

Credit card needed to make a reservation.

Kayaks must arrive in Monte Rio by 5pm.
-
If self-transporting, kayaks must be returned to the store by 5:00pm.

All participants MUST have a basic knowledge of how to swim and are required to wear life vests when in the boat at all times.

All participants must be physically able to paddle for 2.5 hours.

CANCELLATIONS:
-
To not be charged a cancellation fee you must cancel 48 hours in advance, 72 hours for groups of 10 or more.

No shows will be charged the full rental rate to the card used for the reservation.

​What You Should Bring

KAYAK RENTAL OPTIONS​

​​Trip #1: Self Transport Only
You must be able to transport the kayaks TO AND FROM THE STORE yourself.

​Trip #2: Guerneville to Monte Rio
MOST POPULAR OPTION
Self-guided. Transportation back from Monte Rio included.
Approx. Paddling Time: 2.5 to 3 hours Distance: 5 Miles
Excellent trip for individuals of all experience levels
Must arrive at the store no later than 1pm for this trip.

Trip #3: Johnson's Beach and Back​​
Available Mid June to late September. Option to go Upstream or Downstream from Johnson's, returning back to Johnson's Beach.
No shuttle necessary. Lots of beaches to pull off at.​​​​

Trip #4: Vacation Rental Delivery
We deliver to your vacation rental. Kayaks are dropped off at the designated parking area of the rental.
​​​PADDLEBOARD RENTALS​
We now offer stand up paddle boards or SUP's. These are dropped off above the dam at Johnsons Beach and need to be returned to where the SUPs are dropped off. You are welcome to transport the boards yourself. Note that due to the SUP fin, you will be charged for any damage incurred due to paddling in shallow water.
